Is the pendulum hitting the sides of your case? No worries!
You can adjust the swing on a quartz pendulum movement if it's too wide a swing.
Weigh the pendulum down slightly - a small magnet, washer, or nickel attached to the back of the pendulum bob will slow the movement.
A smaller bob would also help. Bob's are available in three sizes: Small (2-1/8") Item 1009795, Medium (2-11/16") Item 200993, and Large (3-1/2") Item 1009811.
As a last resort, the pendulum can be shortened to shorten the swing.
